Assessment:

The assessment for the winching course is to be conducted using direct observation during practical assessment activities and written theoretical assessment.

Entry Requirements:

Particpants must hold a current Australian drivers licence and be at least 18 year of age.

Qualification Requirements:

No pre-requisite requirements.

Notes:

The target group for this course are persons working in a remote or isolated environmnet in 4WD or off road vehicles who have a high chance of requiring recovery using a vehicle mounted winch. This may include maintenance workers, construction workers, those in the mining industry or government agencies and contractors.
