This course is targeted to participants who work in the agricultural, horticultural and conservation and land management industries or wish to become employable in those industries where the work activity involves operating a chainsaw.
Group face to face delivery of training led by a qualified trainer. The assessment for the chainsaw course is to be conducted using a combination of written theoretical assessment and practical assessment during simulated workbased scenarios.

Particpants must hold a current Australian drivers licence and be at least 18 year of age. Minimum Numbers may apply for this course to run.

No pre-requisite requirements. There are no specified licensing requirements to operate a chainsaw.
